Hello my fellow sweet potatoes!
Welcome to The Cozy Life of a Sweet Potato blog. I wanted to use my first blog post as an introduction of myself and what my goals for this blog are.
My name is Sarah. I am a nursing school dropout, turned healthcare administrator that is still trying to find her place in this life. I am a collector of hobbies and an avid sports fan. I love to create art, spend hours working on a puzzle or building a lego set, work on yarn crafts through kitting and crochet, and I have recently gotten back into playing video games. I am very much into playing cozy games, such as Animal Crossing or Dreamlight Valley, but recently my partner has gotten me into the world of MMO's, more specifically World of Warcraft and Ashes of Creation.
My partner and I started a stream back in July 2024 when he decided to show me how to play World of Warcraft. His main goal was to try and teach me the different roles and classes in an MMO game prior to the release of the game Ashes of Creation, but we quickly started to gain traction as people were shocked to see someone brand new to the game. I entered into this experiment leery of what was to come, but have enjoyed that little pocket of time that we get to share together. The name of this blog actually comes from the alias that I go by in all of our games. I am excited to share more on how this stream came about and where we are on our journey in future posts!
I hope to use this space as my journal to you, to share in the cozy crafts and hobbies with me as well as share my thoughts and adventures through the world of streaming and building a small business brand.
